Danielle L. Boisvert

Biography:

Dr. Danielle Boisvert (Professor) is the Senior Associate Dean in the College of Criminal Justice. She obtained her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati (2009), her Masters in Forensic Sciences from the George Washington University (2002), and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario (2001). Her key research interests include life-course/developmental criminology, biosocial criminology, and behavioral genetics. She is part of a cross-disciplinary working group with faculty and students from various departments (e.g., psychology, biology, forensic science) to study the genetic and environmental influences on a variety of delinquent and criminal behaviors. She has published over 45 peer-reviewed journal articles and her work has appeared in Criminology, Justice Quarterly, Journal of Quantitative Criminology, Journal of Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice and Behavior, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice, etc.
