Beth Windisch
Biography:
Beth Windisch is a national security practitioner and researcher. In her professional role, Windisch has over 15 years of experience with the Department of Homeland Security, working on issues including targeted violence and terrorism prevention, risk analysis, health security, human trafficking, and private sector partnerships. Windisch was a Boren Scholar at the American University in Cairo and was named an Emerging Leader by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), a master's degree from National Defense University, and a master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Homeland Defense and Security, where her thesis research examined lone-actor terrorists, gender-based violence, and hegemonic masculinity.
