Dr. Elizabeth Hartsell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. She earned her Ph.D. (2022) and M.A. (2019) degrees in Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of Florida and B.A. (2016) in Psychology from North Carolina State University. Elizabeth joined the faculty in 2022 and her research interests include courts, problem-solving courts, substance use & mental health services in the criminal justice system, mixed methods and evaluation research, and instrumentation.
